Salt Lake City to Anchorage is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Salt Lake City to Anchorage. Expect cooler weather when traveling from Salt Lake City in July: highs in Anchorage hover around 69°F, while lows dip to 55°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Homer.

Drive from Anchorage to Homer in 4.5 hours. Traveling from Anchorage in July, you will find days in Homer are little chillier (64°F), and nights are about the same (51°F). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Juneau.

Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): take in the dramatic natural features at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at DIPAC's Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, and then kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.
