Attractions like Build an Ark Animal Rescue and Tugaloo State Park make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Helen side-trips: Burnt Mountain Preserve Trail (in Jasper), Consolidated Gold Mine (in Dahlonega) and Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery (in Talking Rock).
