French for "beautiful view," Bellevue consistently ranks as one of the country’s best cities to live in.
Step off the beaten path and head to Bellevue Public Library and Meydenbauer Beach Park. Step out of the city life by going to Lake Wilderness Arboretum and Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. Get out of town with these interesting Bellevue side-trips: Woodinville (Mark Ryan Winery, Woodinville Whiskey Co., & more), Issaquah (artEAST, Parasailing & Paragliding, & more) and Everett (Everett Silvertips & Everett Aquasox). Next up on the itinerary: stroll around Mercer Slough Nature Park, identify plant and animal life at Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area, tour the pleasant surroundings at Denny Creek Trail, and enjoy the sand and surf at Picnic Point Park.

For photos, where to stay, other places to visit, and more tourist information, read our Bellevue day trip planner.

Expect a daytime high around 61°F in April, and nighttime lows around 46°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
