Cape May represents the other Jersey Shore--the one you don't see on TV--the one with a rich history and a refined, relaxed atmosphere.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Washington Street Mall and Out of the Past Antiques. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Cape May Point State Park and Cape May City Beaches. Step out of Cape May to go to Lewes and see Cape Henlopen State Park, which is approximately 1h 50 min away. On the 30th (Wed), spend a day by the water at Wildwood Boardwalk.
