Providence has undergone a major upgrade in recent years, transforming from a rough-around-the-edges industrial city into an epicenter of culture.
Visit Old Silver Beach and Narragansett Beach for some beach relaxation. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Providence: Chapoquoit Beach (in Falmouth), Narragansett (Scarborough State Beaches (North and South), Roger W. Wheeler State Beach, &more) and Cape Cod Canal (in Buzzards Bay). And it doesn't end there: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Roger Williams Park Zoo, kick back and relax at Hammonasset Beach State Park, walk around Memorial Park, and wander the streets of Thayer Street.

Ocala to Providence is an approximately 7-hour combination of shuttle and flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Ocala in July: high temperatures in Providence hover around 84°F and lows are around 66°F. On the 9th (Fri), you're off to Worcester.
