Orlando to St. Petersburg is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. September in St. Petersburg sees daily highs of 88°F and lows of 78°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Clearwater.

You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Clearwater Beach and Indian Shores Beach.
