For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Bring the kids along to Walt Disney World Resort and Discovery Cove. Pack the 23rd (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. Have a day of magic on the 27th (Sat) at Magic Kingdom Park. There's much more to do: get in on the family fun at Universal's Islands of Adventure, admire nature's wide array of creatures at SeaWorld Orlando, laugh and play at Happily Ever After Fireworks, and stop by The LEGO Store Downtown Disney.

Separated by water from the neighboring city of Miami, Miami Beach sits on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Family-friendly places like South Beach and Fort Lauderdale Beach will thrill your kids. When in Miami Beach, make a side trip to see Hollywood Beach in Hollywood, approximately 48 minutes away. The adventure continues: have fun at Lock & Load Miami, shop like a local with Lincoln Road, see the interesting displays at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and wander the streets of Ocean Drive.

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
Bring the kids along to River Rafting & Tubing and Denver Museum of Nature & Science. There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Evans, admire all the interesting features of Coors Field, admire the natural beauty at Denver Botanic Gardens, and stroll through Denver Zoo.

Go for a jaunt from Las Vegas to Boulder City to see Hoover Dam about 50 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: explore the stunning scenery at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, try your luck at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, take in nature's colorful creations at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and make a trip to Hoover Dam Bypass.
