Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Head to Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pike Place Marketfor some retail therapy. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Alki Beach and Matthews Beach Park. Change things up with a short trip to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park in Shoreline (about 40 minutes away).
