On the 8th (Tue), admire the striking features of Bradbury Building, then take in panoramic vistas at OUE Skyspace LA, and then have fun and explore at Museum of Illusions. Here are some ideas for day two: take an in-depth tour of Autry Museum of the American West, then explore the world behind art at Diorama-museum of Bhagavad-gita, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park, and finally get engrossed in the history at Skirball Cultural Center.

Key West

Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Seven Mile Bridge. Step out of Key West with an excursion to Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key--about 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: browse the exhibits of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham Maritime Museum, steep yourself in history at West Martello Tower, enjoy the sea views from Key West Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters Museum, and see the vivid underwater world at Vandenberg Wreck.

Traveling by flight from Los Angeles to Key West takes 9.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and shuttle; or drive. For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Canaveral National Seashore and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.
