The City of Lakes

Located on both banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis salutes the state's love of the outdoors with numerous lakes, wetlands, creeks, and waterfalls--many connected to one another by a national scenic byway great for sightseeing.
Get some historical perspective at Cathedral of Saint Paul and St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral. Do some cultural sightseeing at Minneapolis Institute of Art and Mill City Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Watt Munisotaram (in Hampton) and LeDuc Historic Estate (in Hastings). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at American Swedish Institute, tour or see a show at Landmark Center, get engrossed in the history at Minnesota History Center, and stroll the grounds of Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.
