Moab

Red Desert
The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.Visit Newspaper Rock Recreation Site and Sego Canyon Petroglyphs for their historical value. Attractions like Arches National Park and Colorado National Monument make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Grand Junction (Body Therapeutics Medical Massage, The Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Area, &more), Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky, Mesa Arch, &more) and Arches National Park (Sand Dune Arch, Devils Garden Trailhead, &more). Make the 5th (Mon) a memorable day with a climbing tour. There's still lots to do: see Off-Road Tours, play a few rounds at Moab Golf Course, immerse yourself in nature at Dead Horse Point State Park, and explore the striking landscape at Corona Arch.
To see maps, other places to visit, ratings, and other tourist information, you can read our Moab attractions planner.
Expect a daytime high around 97°F in July, and nighttime lows around 67°F.
