Ogunquit

— 28 nights
Ogunquit means "beautiful place by the sea" in the language of the Native Americans who inhabited the region long ago, and this remains an accurate description of this holiday destination today.
Step out of the city life by going to Perkins Cove and Ogunquit Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Kennebunk (Maine Art Hill, The Brick Store Museum, &more), Saco (Saco Heath, Ferry Beach State Park, &more) and Old Orchard Beach (Palace Playland, Old Orchard Beach, &more). There's much more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Marginal Way Walkway, identify plant and animal life at Wells Reserve at Laudholm, get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Wells Beach.

Plan my trip to Ogunquit with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

Newport News to Ogunquit is an approximately 6-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also fly; or drive. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Newport News in June, with highs in Ogunquit at 75°F and lows at 52°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
