On your second day here, get engrossed in the history at Heyward House Museum & Welcome Center, take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Church of the Cross, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Coligny Beach.

Beaufort is a city in and the county seat of Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States. On the 7th (Sat), settle in for a delightful tour with a horse-drawn carriage tour, then examine the collection at Pat Conroy Literary Center, and then walk around Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. On the next day, visit a coastal fixture at Hunting Island Lighthouse and then admire the majestic nature at Hunting Island State Park.
