Poipū is a census-designated place in Kauai County on the southern side of the island of Kauai in the U.S. Shop till you drop at Talk Story Bookstore and Island Soap and Candle Works. Relax by the water at Poipu Beach Park and Makawehi Bluff. Step out of Poipu to go to Waimea and see Waimea Canyon State Park, which is approximately 56 minutes away.
