The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): hit the best photo ops around with an inspiring photography tour, then explore the stunning scenery at Antelope Canyon, and then admire the engineering at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook. On your second day here, take an in-depth tour of Powell Museum, see human ingenuity at work at Glen Canyon Dam, and then let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Koko Crater Railway Trail and USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Haleiwa (Haleiwa Beach Park War Memorial & Shark Diving) and Polynesian Cultural Center (in Laie).
