Blowing Rock — 2 nights
Blowing Rock is a town in Watauga and Caldwell counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Get in touch with nature at Zipline and Blue Ridge Pkwy. Change things up with a short trip to Mount Mitchell State Park in Burnsville (about 1h 20 min away). There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Grandfather Mountain, steep yourself in history at Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, and hike along Bass Lake.
