Rich in museums, restaurants, shops, and historical sites, Boston attracts over 16 million visitors each year. New England's largest and most influential city, Boston ranks among the world's major centers of education and culture.
On the 10th (Wed), contemplate the long history of Old North Church & Historic Site, then contemplate the long history of Captain Jackson’s Historic Chocolate Shop and the Printing Office of Edes and Gill, then admire the masterpieces at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and finally explore the world behind art at Museum of Fine Arts. On your second day here, take a stroll through Waterfront, get engrossed in the history at New England Holocaust Memorial, then steep yourself in history at Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House, and finally wander the streets of Beacon Hill.

Best known for its 1692 witch trials, Salem has a number of significant historical sites, a bustling downtown, and many witch-themed attractions.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Fri): contemplate the long history of The Custom House, see the interesting displays at Peabody Essex Museum, then take an in-depth tour of Salem Witch Museum, and finally explore the world behind art at Count Orlok's Nightmare Gallery.
