Hoo-Ville

Situated at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Charlottesville is perhaps best known as the home of three of the United States' founding fathers, including Thomas Jefferson.
Visit James Madison's Montpelier and Mulberry Row for their historical value. Frontier Culture Museum and James Monroe's Highland are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's lots more to do: indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, take in nature's colorful creations at Monticello, and admire the striking features of University of Virginia.

In June, plan for daily highs up to 84°F, and evening lows to 64°F.
