Augusta–Richmond County is a consolidated city-county on the central eastern border of the U.S. Start off your visit on the 16th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Sacred Heart Cultural Center, then get engrossed in the history at Augusta Canal Discovery Center, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Riverwalk. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at The Laurel and Hardy Museum of Harlem, Georgia, take in nature's colorful creations at Meadow Garden, then get engrossed in the history at Augusta Museum of History, then admire the landmark architecture of The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park.
