Omaha to Denver is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time (CST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST) is minus 1 hour. When traveling from Omaha in February, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Denver: temperatures range from 45°F by day to 21°F at night. Founded in 1859 as part of the Gold Rush in the Rockies, Breckenridge boasts a main street lined with colorful wooden storefronts housing cafes and shops, giving the effect of a thriving western town from the 19th century.
Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sat): hit the slopes at Frisco Adventure Park, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, then hit the slopes at Blue River Sports, and finally admire all the interesting features of Boreas Pass Road. You can drive from Denver to Breckenridge in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and shuttle.
