Glenwood Springs

— 2 nights
Glenwood Springs occupies a scenic location at the junction of the Colorado River and the Roaring Fork River, halfway between Vail and Aspen along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Linwood Cemetery and Aspen Skiing Company. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Glenwood Springs: Avalanche Ranch Hot Springs (in Redstone), Aspen (Aspen Music Festival and School & Aspen Center for Environmental Studies) and Snowmass Ice Age Discovery Center (in Snowmass Village). There's more to do: explore the stunning scenery at Glenwood Canyon and look for all kinds of wild species at Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area.
