Textile Center of the World

The largest city in "upstate" South Carolina, Greenville has grown around the natural wonders of waterfalls located in the downtown area.
Appreciate the collections at The Folk Art Center and Asheville Pinball Museum. Visiting Falls Park on the Reedy and Zipline will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Greenville side-trips: Asheville (Lexington Glassworks & Woolworth Walk), Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park (in Chimney Rock) and Slick Rock Country Emporium (in Hendersonville). And it doesn't end there: test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Dark Corner Distillery, and stroll through GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail.

For traveler tips, more things to do, where to stay, and more tourist information, go to the Greenville tour itinerary planner.

In July, daily temperatures in Greenville can reach 90°F, while at night they dip to 72°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
