Harpers Ferry

— 2 nights
With a population of less than 300, Harpers Ferry is as quaint as they come.
True Treats Historic Candy has been added to your itinerary. Take a break from the city and head to Appalachian National Scenic Trail and Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship. Kids will enjoy Armory Canal Trail and Ruins of St. John's Episcopal Church. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Harpers Ferry: Strasburg (Strasburg Museum & Strasburg Emporium Antiques) and Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area (in Fort Valley). There's much more to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Harper Cemetery, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, steep yourself in history at White Hall Tavern, and make a trip to John Brown's Fort.
