On the 9th (Fri), see the interesting displays at Matt Kenseth Racing Museum, then take in nature's colorful creations at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, then get a sense of history and politics at Wisconsin State Capitol, and finally don't miss a visit to Memorial Union Terrace.

Fly from Madison to Little Rock in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Madison in December, you will find days in Little Rock are much warmer (54°F), and nights are somewhat warmer (37°F). Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight back home.
