The City of Lakes

Located on both banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis salutes the state's love of the outdoors with numerous lakes, wetlands, creeks, and waterfalls--many connected to one another by a national scenic byway great for sightseeing.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Fri): buy something for everyone on your list at Mall of America, then get in on the family fun at Nickelodeon Universe, and then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at SEA LIFE at Mall of America. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 10th (Sat): see the interesting displays at Science Museum of Minnesota, then admire the natural beauty at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, then get in on the family fun at Cafesjian's Carousel, and finally stroll around Minnehaha Park.

Situated on the westernmost point of the Lake Superior, Duluth represents a booming port city.
On the 11th (Sun), explore the striking landscape of Congdon Park, then take in the views from Aerial Lift Bridge, then stroll around Canal Park, and finally cruise along Minnesota's North Shore Scenic Drive.
