Montgomery — 1 night

Montgomery is the capital of the U.S. state of Alabama and is the county seat of Montgomery County. On the 2nd (Thu), pause for some photo ops at National Memorial for Peace and Justice, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Montgomery Zoo, and then see the sky in a new way at W.A. Gayle Planetarium. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Legacy Museum.
