New Braunfels — 1 night

Built upon the back of an older cotton-producing town called Gruene, New Braunfels pays tribute to its heritage by maintaining part of the historical town--its post office, general store, and dance hall among other buildings--inside the city limits.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Natural Bridge Caverns as well as Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. On the 27th (Fri), meet the residents at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and then explore the fascinating underground world of Natural Bridge Caverns.

The city of Fredericksburg was settled by German immigrants in the mid-19th century, and has managed to retain its distinctly German charm.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sun): experience rural life at Wildseed Farms, make a trip to Main Street, and then look for gifts at The Tinsmith's Wife.
