The heart of Pennsylvania's famous "Dutch Country," Lancaster is one of the nation's oldest inland cities, founded in 1730.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Fri): experience rural life at The Amish Farm and House and then get in on the family fun at Dutch Wonderland. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire all the interesting features of Lapp Valley Farm, look for gifts at Kitchen Kettle Village, then get engrossed in the history at Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, then get engrossed in the history at The Amish Village, and finally savor the flavors at Kissel Hill Fruit Farm.

Tuckerton is a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States, named for founder Ebenezer Tucker (1758–1845), and was a port of entry, but not the third Port of Entry in the United States, as is often described. Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): look for all kinds of wild species at Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve, browse the different shops at Historic Smithville and Village Greene, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
