Pigeon Forge — 2 nights

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.Your list of things to see and do now includes All Sauced Up #2, Rocky Top Wine Trail, Mill Bridge Winery, and other attractions. For shopping fun, head to Fowler's Clay Works or Tanger Outlets Sevierville. There's still lots to do: sample the fine beverages at Sugarlands Distilling Company, stop by The Old Mill Candy Kitchen, learn about winemaking at Tennessee Homemade Wines, and get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.
