Pocatello is the county seat and largest city of Bannock County, with a small portion on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation in neighboring Power County, in the southeastern part of the U.S. Explore Pocatello's surroundings by going to Idaho Potato Museum (in Blackfoot), Idaho Falls (Hell's Half Acre & Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park) and Lava Hot Springs (Idaho's World Famous Hot Pools & Olympic Swimming Complex). There's more to do: examine the collection at Museum of Clean and try your luck at Fort Hall Casino.

For where to stay, other places to visit, reviews, and more tourist information, go to the Pocatello vacation builder tool .

In July, daily temperatures in Pocatello can reach 38°C, while at night they dip to 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) to allow time to travel back home.
