Flowers of the Carolinas

Once the seat of a thriving tobacco industry, Durham has seen some significant moments in American history.
Get outdoors at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve and Fletcher Park. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Carrboro Farmers Market and North Hills. Venture out of the city with trips to Raleigh (Crabtree Valley Mall, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, &more) and McIntyre's Fine Books and Bookends (in Pittsboro). There's still lots to do: admire the natural beauty at Sarah P. Duke Gardens, identify plant and animal life at JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, and shop like a local with FRANK Gallery.
