Snowshoe is an unincorporated community in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, United States, centering on the Snowshoe Mountain ski resort. Bring the kids along to Snowshoe Mountain Resort and Cheat Mountain Stables. Go for a jaunt from Snowshoe to Green Bank to see Green Bank Observatory about 36 minutes away. There's lots more to do: head outdoors with Village at Snowshoe, admire the majestic nature at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, identify plant and animal life at Shavers Lake Trail, and play a few rounds at Raven Golf Club.
