Tacoma is a mid-sized urban port city in and the county seat of Pierce County, Washington, United States. Step out of Tacoma with an excursion to Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in Olympia--about 48 minutes away. Spend the 4th (Sat) wandering through the wild on Discover Nature. There's still lots to do: admire the majestic nature at Point Defiance Park, explore the world behind art at Tacoma Art Museum, make a trip to Union Station, and see the interesting displays at Museum of Glass.
