Pigeon Forge

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Take a break from Pigeon Forge with a short trip to River Rafting & Tubing in Hartford, about 54 minutes away. There's lots more to do: find something for the whole family at Dollywood, see the interesting displays at Titanic Museum Attraction, kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and observe the fascinating underwater world at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.
