Ocala is a city located in Northern Florida. Family-friendly places like Scuba & Snorkeling and Gypsy Gold Horse Farm will thrill your kids. Orlando to Ocala is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of bus and taxi; or take a bus. Traveling from Orlando in April, Ocala is a bit cooler at night with lows of 59°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Mon) so you can drive to Amelia Island.
