Monterey — 4 nights

Monterey is a city in the U.S. state of California, on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on California's Central Coast. Relax by the water at Asilomar State Beach and Del Mar Beach. Get some cultural insight at Monterey Bay Food Tours and Wrath Tasting Room- Carmel. Go for a jaunt from Monterey to Capitola to see Capitola Beach about 46 minutes away. There's much more to do: stroll through Carmel River State Beach, kick back and relax at Marina State Beach, make a trip to Lovers Point, and get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

The quaint city of Healdsburg is one of northern California's wine capitals, serving as the meeting point for three of Sonoma's most important wine-producing regions.
Gracianna Winery and Wine Tours & Tastings are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of the city life by going to Sonoma Coast State Beach and Armstrong Redwood State Reserve. Step out of Healdsburg with an excursion to Vincent Arroyo Winery in Calistoga--about 36 minutes away.
