Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Get some cultural insight at Museum of Pop Culture and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Appreciate the collections at The Museum of Flight and Living Computers: Museum + Labs. Dedicate the 4th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum, admire the local landmark of Seattle Center, shop like a local with Pike Place Market, and gain insight at University of Washington.
