Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.Visit La Jolla Cove and Nicholas Canyon Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Santa Monica State Beach and Santa Monica Bay. Get out of town with these interesting Los Angeles side-trips: Disneyland Park (in Anaheim), Malibu (Surfrider Beach, Zuma Beach, &more) and Timken Museum of Art (in San Diego).
