Manistique

Manistique, formerly Monistique, is the only incorporated city in and the county seat of Schoolcraft County of the U.S. Step off the beaten path and head to Palms Book State Park and Indian Lake State Park. Take a break from the city and head to Fayette Historic State Park and Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Venture out of the city with trips to Iron Mountain Iron Mine (in Vulcan) and Sand Point Lighthouse (in Escanaba).
