Manistique, formerly Monistique, is the only incorporated city in and the county seat of Schoolcraft County of the U.S. Get outdoors at Palms Book State Park and Fayette Historic State Park. You'll discover tucked-away gems like The Manistique Boardwalk and River Walk and Indian Lake State Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Manistique: Iron Mountain Iron Mine (in Vulcan), Seney National Wildlife Refuge (in Seney) and Sand Point Lighthouse (in Escanaba).
