Vancouver — 29 nights

Vancouver is a city on the north bank of the Columbia River in the U.S. State of Washington, and the largest suburb of Portland, Oregon. Do some cultural sightseeing at Timberline Lodge and Ski Area and Cape Meares Lighthouse. Get some historical perspective at Columbia River Highway and Beacon Rock. Change things up with these side-trips from Vancouver: Cannon Beach (Cannon Beach Gallery, Haystack Gallery, &more), Seaside (Camp 18 Logging Museum & Restaurant, Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area, &more) and Government Camp (Timberline Summit Pass & Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl). Spend the 8th (Sun) exploring nature at Fort Clatsop National Memorial. There's still lots to do: admire the majestic nature at Fort Stevens State Park, get to know the fascinating history of Officers' Row, take in the dramatic scenery at Multnomah Falls, and examine the collection at Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum.
