Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Change things up with a short trip to B&B Family Farm in Sequim (about 2 hours away). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, walk around Volunteer Park Conservatory, work some fitness into your day at Discovery Park, and see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight.
