Mobile is the county seat of Mobile County, Alabama, United States. Richards DAR House Museum and GulfQuest - National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico will appeal to museum buffs. Get some cultural insight at Bellingrath Gardens and Home and Oakleigh Historic District. Explore Mobile's surroundings by going to Fairhope (Fairhope Avenue & Fairhope Museum) and Confederate Rest Cemetery (in Point Clear). Dauphin Island

Dauphin Island is a town in Mobile County, Alabama, United States, on a barrier island of the same name (split by the Katrina Cut), at the Gulf of Mexico. Step out of the city life by going to Dauphin Island Audubon Bird Sanctuary and Fishing Charters & Tours. Get some cultural insight at Fort Gaines and Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium.
