Highlands is an incorporated town in Macon County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Highlands: Cherokee (Museum of the Cherokee Indian & Casino at Harrah’s Cherokee), River Rafting & Tubing (in Bryson City) and 12 Spies Vineyards and Farm (in Rabun Gap).
