Yonkers

— 30 nights
Yonkers is the fourth most populous city in the U.S. state of New York (behind New York City, Buffalo, and Rochester), and the most populous city in Westchester County. Family-friendly places like Untermyer Gardens and High Point State Park will thrill your kids. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Sterling Hill Mining Museum and Sam's Point Preserve. Explore Yonkers' surroundings by going to Resica Falls (in East Stroudsburg), Millbrook (Innisfree Gardens & Trevor Zoo) and Lacawac Sanctuary (in Lake Ariel). There's much more to do: hike along The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, stroll around Farmington Canal State Park, take in the dramatic scenery at Ice Caves and Verkeerderkill Falls Trail Hike, and identify plant and animal life at Wolf Conservation Center.
