Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Step out of Page to go to Shonto and see Keet Seel Navajo National Monument, which is approximately 1h 05 min away. And it doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend, have fun at Gunfighter Canyon, and take in breathtaking views at Antelope Canyon.

When traveling from Grand Canyon National Park in January, plan for a bit warmer days and much warmer nights in Sedona: temperatures range from 54°F by day to 37°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Thu) early enough to drive to Phoenix.

Traveling by car from Tucson to Tombstone takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of train and taxi. In January, Tombstone is a bit cooler than Tucson - with highs of 60°F and lows of 36°F. You'll have a few hours on the 1st (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling home.
