More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and Columbus Museum of Art. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at German Village and Ohio History Center. Explore Columbus' surroundings by going to John and Annie Glenn Historic Site (in New Concord), Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House (in Springfield) and Freedom Grove (in Urbana).
