We've included these beaches for you: Cupsogue Beach County Park and Pike's Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Bay Head Beach and Goldsmith's Inlet. Get out of town with these interesting New York City side-trips: Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge (in Wallkill), Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary (in New Paltz) and Sam's Point Preserve (in Cragsmoor).
