A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Popular historic sites such as The Grotto - National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother and Benson Bridge are in your itinerary. Visiting Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and Multnomah Falls will get you outdoors. There's lots more to do: get a dose of the wild on Volcano Lands - Private Tours, take in nature's colorful creations at Lan Su Chinese Garden, get outside with Portland Timbers, and stop by Powell's City of Books.

Get in touch with nature at Grinnell Glacier and Swiftcurrent Falls. There's still lots to do: cruise along Going-to-the-Sun Road, hike along Trail of the Cedars, explore the activities along St. Mary Lake, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Avalanche Lake.
