The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like National Air and Space Museum and National Zoological Park. Relax by the water at National Gallery of Art and Betterton Beach. Explore Washington DC's surroundings by going to Antietam National Battlefield (in Sharpsburg), Baltimore (Horseshoe Casino, Sagamore Spirit Distillery, & more) and Gettysburg (Gettysburg National Military Park, Devils Den, & more). Spend the 29th (Sat) exploring nature at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.
