Textile Center of the World

The largest city in "upstate" South Carolina, Greenville has grown around the natural wonders of waterfalls located in the downtown area.
Change things up with these side-trips from Greenville: Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Tours & Tastings (in Mills River), Asheville (Lexington Glassworks, Food Tours, &more) and Helen (Unicoi State Park & Anna Ruby Falls). Make the 13th (Thu) an awe-inspiring day at Pisgah National Forest. There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Falls Park on the Reedy, stroll through Charlies Bunion, look for all kinds of wild species at DuPont State Recreational Forest, and take in the views from Liberty Bridge.
